1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by Alban Decorating Group (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accepting a quotation or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Quotations & Pricing
- All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are based on the details provided at the time of inspection.
- Any additional work requested after the quotation has been agreed may be subject to extra charges.
- We reserve the right to amend pricing if project scope changes.
3. Deposits & Payments
- A deposit may be required before work begins.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Late payments may incur additional charges.
4. Project Timelines
- Estimated start and completion dates will be agreed prior to commencement.
- While we aim to complete all projects on time, delays may occur due to weather conditions, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
- We will communicate any delays promptly.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide access to the property during agreed working hours.
- Ensure work areas are reasonably cleared of furniture and valuables where possible.
- Inform us of any known issues such as damp, structural damage, or previous coating failures.
6. Materials & Workmanship
- We use quality materials suitable for each project.
- Specific brands or finishes can be requested by the client and may affect pricing.
- We guarantee that all work will be carried out in a professional and workmanlike manner.
7. Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs within a short period before the agreed start date.
8. Liability
- We are fully insured.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing defects or hidden structural issues.
- Liability is limited to the value of the agreed contract.
9. Health & Safety
We operate in compliance with UK health and safety regulations and take reasonable precautions to ensure a safe working environment.
10. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our work, please notify us in writing within 7 days of project completion. We will aim to resolve the matter promptly and professionally.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
